Not everything spiritual is from God. In 1 John 4:1–4, John commands Christians to “test the spirits” because false prophets have gone out into the world. Jesus warned the same thing in Matthew 24: false teachers are coming, deception will increase, and believers must know how to recognize the truth. In this message, we look at a simple biblical TEST:

T — Think Before You Trust

E — Examine the Source

S — See What It Says About Jesus

T — Turn From the Counterfeit

The ultimate test is Jesus Christ. Who is He? What does the teaching say about Him? Does it confess the Jesus revealed in Scripture—the Son of God who came in the flesh, died for our sins, rose again, and is Lord?
