Light Remains

How do you know God is really living in you? You can know the right verses, attend church, and talk about love—but is the love of God changing the way you treat people?

In 1 John 4:12–16, John describes a remarkable reality: we abide in God, and God abides in us. The unseen God makes His presence known through His Spirit, our confession of Jesus as the Son of God, and the love we show one another. Christianity is more than knowing about God. It is living in fellowship with Him—and His presence changing us from within.

In this message, LIGHT REMAINS, we explore what it means to remain in God’s love. We also walk through the Greek words in 1 Corinthians 13 to understand what love actually looks like. Love is patient and kind. It refuses envy, pride, selfishness, and resentful scorekeeping. It rejoices in truth and remains faithful when loving becomes costly. Love is not simply something we feel or something we say. It becomes recognizable in how we live.

Is your fellowship with God becoming recognizable in the way you treat your family, your church, and the people who are difficult to love? LIGHT REMAINS—we live in Him, He lives in us, and His love becomes visible through us.
