Light Overcomes
What does it really mean to be an overcomer?
The Bible does not promise that Christians will win every game, avoid every hardship, become successful, or escape suffering. Biblical victory is something far greater. Jesus said, “I have overcome the world.” Our victory starts with Him—not us.
In this message, we look at what it means to overcome spiritually, how Jesus’ victory becomes real in our lives, and the seven battles Christians face in Revelation 2–3:
• Lovelessness
• Persecution
• Compromise
• Corruption
• Spiritual deadness
• Weakness
• Apathy
LIGHT OVERCOMES.
“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
1 John 4:4–6
