Light Confirms
Does God really love you - even after everything you have done, everything you regret, and everything you have struggled to believe?
First John 3:1 does not tell us merely to understand God’s love. It tells us to stop and stare at it:
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”
God does not simply tolerate those who trust in Jesus. He forgives them, welcomes them, adopts them, and calls them His children.
In this powerful expositional sermon, Pastor Kevin walks through the Psalms, the Prophets, and the New Testament to reveal the overwhelming, everlasting, and sacrificial love of God. His love is not based on your performance, measured by your circumstances, or canceled by your failures. God proved His love once and for all when Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose again.
In this message, discover:
• Why you can know that God truly loves you
• How the entire Bible reveals God’s love
• Why your circumstances are not the measure of His affection
• How the cross permanently demonstrates God’s love
• What it means to become a child of God
• Why nothing can separate believers from God’s love
• How believing God’s love changes your identity, relationships, and walk with Him
You may feel forgotten, rejected, ashamed, wounded, or unworthy—but your feelings do not have the final word. The cross does.
Jesus loves me, this I know—not because life always feels like it, but because the entire Bible tells me so.
God loves the world and gave His Son so that whoever believes in Jesus Christ will not perish but have everlasting life. Turn from sin, trust in Jesus, and receive the love, forgiveness, and new life only He can give.
