Light Restores
What happens when a Christian sins?
Many people think God’s light only exposes them, shames them, or pushes them away. But in 1 John 2:1–2, John shows us something powerful: Light Restores. In this message from our Walk In The Light series, Pastor Kevin teaches how Jesus Christ is our Advocate with the Father and the propitiation for our sins. The goal is holiness — “that you may not sin” — but the hope is Jesus — “if anyone sins, we have an Advocate.”
If you’ve been carrying guilt, shame, hidden sin, religious exhaustion, or fear that God is done with you, this message will point you back to the One who restores. Jesus does not minimize sin, but He has fully paid for it. The light exposes what sin damaged, but the blood of Jesus cleanses what the light reveals.
Don’t run from the Light. Come to Jesus.
