Faith Relies

In this message, Faith Relies, we continue our Hall of Faith series by looking at Hebrews 11:30 and the life of Joshua. Scripture tells us that by faith the walls of Jericho fell, but that moment was not the beginning of Joshua’s faith—it was the result of a lifetime of relying on God.
From the battle with Amalek, to the report of the spies, to crossing the Jordan, to the fall of Jericho, Joshua’s story shows that victory does not come from human strength, strategy, or experience. It comes from trusting God at every step.
Through Joshua’s life we see eight powerful reminders that faith relies on:
God’s Power
God’s Promise
God’s Promotion
God’s Providence
God’s Plan
God’s Presence
God’s Permission
God’s Purpose
If you are facing something that feels impossible—walls that won’t move, battles you can’t win, or limits that seem fixed—this message will remind you that faith is not confidence in yourself. Faith is reliance on God.
The same God who brought down the walls of Jericho is still working today.
