We’re so glad you joined us for Church Online this week. Whether you’re watching live or later, we believe God meets people right where they are—and we’re honored to worship with you.

In this message, Faith Risks, we walk through Hebrews 11:32–40 and the lives of the prophets—men who spoke truth, suffered greatly, and pointed forward to Jesus. While many celebrate the victories of faith, this passage reveals the other side: rejection, persecution, and sacrifice. Same faith… different outcomes.

We explore:

• The Prophets — Who they were (from Samuel to Malachi, God’s voice to His people)

• The Promise — What they said (how every prophet pointed to the coming Messiah)

• The Price — What it cost them (mocked, beaten, imprisoned, and even killed for their faith)

Through it all, Hebrews reminds us: they did not receive the promise in their lifetime—because God had something better in store. That “better” is Jesus.

Following Jesus is not easy. It requires counting the cost, denying yourself, and taking up your cross daily. But what you lose for Christ on earth is restored forever in eternity.
