Faith Receives
We’re so glad you decided to join us for Church Online this week. Whether you’re watching live or later in the week, we believe God meets people right where they are, and we’re honored to worship with you.
In this message, Faith Receives, we continue our Hall of Faith series by looking at Hebrews 11:8–10, 13–16 and the life of Abraham. Abraham’s faith wasn’t defined by what he achieved, built, or possessed—it was defined by what he received from God. By faith, Abraham obeyed God’s call, left everything familiar, and began a journey without knowing where he was going. He received God’s promise and lived as a stranger and pilgrim on the earth, trusting that God was preparing something far greater than anything this world could offer.
If you feel unsettled, out of place, or weary from chasing what never seems to satisfy, this message is for you. Faith receives heaven as real and learns to live on earth as a temporary home. God is not ashamed to be called the God of those who live this way, because He has prepared a city for them.
The question is not whether God has spoken—but whether we are willing to trust Him enough to follow. Faith receives God’s promise, God’s direction, and God Himself as the ultimate reward.
