RESPONSIBLE
What does it really mean to be a RESPONSIBLE man?
In 2 Samuel 2–5, David stops waiting and steps into the responsibility God has placed before him. He doesn’t seize the throne—he obeys God, carries what has been entrusted to him, confronts what others left undone, and uses authority for the sake of God’s people.
Responsibility is not controlling everything around you. It is owning your obedience, carrying your assignment, and leaving something better for those who come after you.
Jesus shows us this perfectly. He stepped into a problem He did not create, carried the cross, finished the Father’s assignment, and became our Shepherd-King.
